Sudoku is a popular number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with numbers so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids contains all of the digits from 1 to 9.

We will show you step by step, what can go where in the Sudoku grid, the perfect aid to solve the puzzle and to improve your understanding for future puzzles.

work out if there is only one possible number for a square.

Update known squares: This will fill in the squares where there is only one possible number left

Save cells: This will save the grid at a set point to allow you to return to it later

Recall cells: This will set the grid back to what it was when it was saved

Clear: This will clear the Sudoku grid
